No More Braces =D

its been a while..

so thanksgiving was a blast!!
we had 2 thanksgivings, one with dads family at our house and one at grandma celia's house :]i love my family!! so thankful to have them!! here's some piks i took

So this year i had a goal for straight A's...didn't happen. It wasn't as easy as i thought.BUT i let myself have a lee-way(?)N0 C'S!! and i just made myself go to study sessions and make up stuff that i could. Which was every Wednesday 7-9pm for 3 weeks. So only 3 days but still i made up a lot! and i am very proud of myself for not settling for something when i had a couple things to do to make it even a little bit better!

So all summer the orthodontist was saying he was going to take my braces off.. so I was way excited!! then it never happened! and today was supposed to be T H E D A Y! I was all planned; 10 i was going to go get them off [got out of school and i didn't go back it was awesome!] then i was going to eat corn ON the cob for the first time in 5 years!!!!!! because with my braces i had to cut it off... so corn on the cob was my number one thing i missed!! then we were going to buy apples and all the other stuff i couldn't eat with braces =P i was so excited! also i wasn't going to be brace face for picture day =D
but when i got there they looked at me then the doc came in and he said 'ohh... bite together again..' so i did. and he said 'your front teeth have really come together that's good... and the front part of your bite is really good but your back teeth don't touch. that's not good' -- see my mom had surgery on her jaw and the same thing that happened to her was happening with my jaw so they had me on elastics and all that fun stuff for two years and that was supposed to fix it but it only fixed the front teeth. SO!! i didn't get my braces off. he gave me elastics again.. and i can barely put them on! but if i wear them faithfully then they should really help fast and so about a month or two is what they said will be T H E [[NEW]] D A Y.... but while i was in there i was so close to crying!!! and then for dinner guess what my mom made my BROTHERS! for dinner... starts with a C.. ends with ORN ON A COB!! but it was leftovers she said she had to get rid of it.. today was just not my day.. ='/

So I started school on august 19Th..I'M A FREAKING FRESHMAN! but I honestly do .not. like high school =

My first day;;
I'm with yearbook so I go early [but that doesn't bother me too bad]
my 1st class is algebra.. and my "x-best friend" you could say Garett was in there.. made me freak out! i didn't think i had any classes with him so i wasn't worried about seeing him or anything then BAM! there he was..
2Nd class is drawing.. i sit by a cute kid in there :] (but i found out today that he's a SENIOR so its a little weird)
3rd is geography.. and i got lost on my way there.. =\
4Th is science.. Garett was in there too.
5Th English.. also Garett has that class. so much for hiding from him
6Th art.. easy easy!!
7Th seminary... KOTA; MY FAVORITE IS THERE WITH ME :] made me feel lots better having her there ha!
also my locker was stuck at lunch and of all people i asked GARETT. to help me!! i felt so stupid!! and still my locker hates me! I've talked to the janitor 4 times about it and got a new lock and it just won't open very easily i have to like put my knee in it and stuff.. =\ today MONDAY i was late for 2 classes!!! that's not good!!! I'll just have to get a back pack or something so i don't have to go to my locker allot.. i think I'm giving my locker a name so maybe it will like me better and be original

She's Such A Goofy Baby!

This isn't the best picture.. its off my phone.. but anywho i was babysitting Ellie this morning while my mom caught up on her sleep. Ellie was way fussy. i gave her a couple gram crackers and she was ok for a while on the floor then she got stuck under the couch chair thing and started crying. i put her up on my chair and then she turned around and looked at me. she closed her eyes and opened them four times each time slower then BAM! she was out! and she fell over and stayed asleep just like that.. is was so sweet but then i got 3 phone calls i couldn't answer because i didn't want to wake her up.. oh well its a memory i won't forget and when she's older i can tell her what a goof she was haha!!

ICE BL0CKING..

For young womens last night we went and got ice cream and big ice blocks. We drove over to a hill behind the tech. We put towels over the ice, went up to the top of the hill, and sat on the ice and AWAY WE WENT! lol it was fun! i didn't go as crazy as the other 3 but i did have fun! lol i had never heard of it before so i thought i'd post about it ha it was awesome :)

I Hate Misquitos

eww ok my leg looks weird and gross but this is SOME of my misquito bites. I have like 50! No joke! this was on the fourth of july and I get more everyday just walking outside :( so like everyday i put on bug spray and It stinks i hate the smell haha. So what i'm doing most of the day is sitting on my bed stratching the heck out of my legs and arms because i'm not tough enough to ignore it lol

Its Been A While..

The Past two Weeks I've had a Look at Life and Something To do..

Girls camp was the 24th thru the 27th of July. We stayed at one of my leader's cabin up on Cove Mountain. It was VERY cold. But we were tough. Our theme was DO YOU BELIEVE ENOUGH??

I had a awesome time at girls camp and to tell you the truth it changed me up a bit. See, I never had the desire to read my scriptures but when at girls camp and we were supposed to read them I got interested and i found alot of good stuff in there!! haha

I felt the spirit more then I ever had when The leaders Took us on a walk thru the woods and they asked us if we were to die tomorrow what would we change today? and at the end of the walk they also asked us if heavenly father were to write our abituarys

The last day before testimony meeting we had a speaker come and talk to us about how her husband died two weeks after their temple marriage and how she was able to meet a new man that she could be sealed to.. it was really confusing but it made me think more on temple marriage and that what ever happens at the end heavenly father will set everything in its rightfull place.

Well On Monday the 29th my family went to see the new OQUIRRH TEMPLE in South Jordan and people from Michigan and all sorts of places were there!!! I was amazed by how many people came to see the temple. It was so pretty!! We got to walk thru most of it. i loved it!

On Tuesday we went to Lagoon- i didn't feel good but it was still fun. I just stayed with Ellie most the time i didnt go on very many rides but i DID go on the swings like 6 times :) the swings are my FAVORITE!!!!!!!! i could ride that all day and never get sick of it (but the music would have to keep playing because thats one of the best parts of it haha)

On Wednesday we went and saw some pretty awesome AIRPLANES!! at a museum. i think i want to learn how to fly one just for the heck of it :)

We also went to a dinosaur museum --but it was lame.

On Thursday we headed for home but stopped by an aquarium where we saw sting rays, frogs, sharks, starfish, jellyfish, SEA HORSES!, octopi and some other animals. it was my favorite part of the week next to the temple. :)

Now that we're back we're just chilling out for a while.. I CAN'T WAIT FOR FOURTH OF JULY FIREWORKS! =] HAHA

TUESDAY!

So down below you see some silly pic's of ME AND JACIE! Jacie is one of my best friend--we're pretty amazing lol

I went over to her house yesterday morning & just hung out and was being goofy with make up and yes we were kinda playing dress up hah!!! Later we Went to Young Womens together and we made HOMEMADE ICE CREAM!!!!!!!!! [it was the strawberry kind and it was sooo good i usually hate strawberry ice cream but man it was delicious!!]

Then at NINE we went to the movie and watched NIGHT AT THE MUSEUM 2! It was pretty funny. We also had a sleepover and ME/I watched wild hogs because she fell asleep fast! haha yeah it was a crazy day!

JUST HAVING FUN =]

Wow I haven't been on here in a LONG time.

Last Tuesday My grandma came over & she dyed my hair with DARK DARK brown on the bottom and she thined it up I LOVE IT! it looks really cool :] We have the doors for downstairs, we just need them hinged up so I can move down there!! I've got a empty dresser, and 2 boxes and some drawer things down there in my closet!! I'm getting there! haha! but there are these little field? bugs like REALLY REALLY little that come from the window so the window has a little more work on it but yeah :] I'm so excited!!

Thursday at my drum lessons I passed off- We got the beat-the go go's and Dont Stop-fleetwood mac. And I learned I LOVE ROCK N ROLL BY JOAN JETT!! I really sucked it up the first time... but with all my everyday practice I've got it down to where i mess up only like 3 times!! :] I'm pretty proud of myself! Later that day my cousin SAMIE! samantha jones (on my dads side) SHE GRADUATED!!!! I'M SO PROUD OF HER!!!! :]

Well my little brother Kay J just got babtised on saturday :] I was way excited for him! Me and this other Morgan (her sister got babtised too) we sang 'When I Am Babtised'. People said I did a good job but I didn't think I did. I had a sore throat-still do and it hurts!- so it kinda messed me up.

Yeah my sore throat kept me from Church on Sunday and Yesterday/Monday My mom dragged me to the Doctors. I DON'T HAVE STREP!! but my symptoms were:: Sore throat, chills, the feel of ears needed to be popped-whatever that is called in technical doc terms-, and occasional headaches. So the doctor gave me pills :[ and Ellie has something going on with her ears so she has medicine too & she's just as onrey as me.

Well today--Tuesday ... I'm sick so nothing big just tending Ellie and my brothers til my mom gets back off work.

D R U M S ! !

I'M SO HAPPY!! I GOT MY NEW DRUMS!! (WELL I BOUGHT THEM USED.. BUT PRACTICALLY NEW) LOL

My friend Trent used to play drums for like a week and he wanted to get rid of his drums so I bought them.. well I asked my dad to buy them =D

Trent and Broox and Scott and GARETT and ME are all in a band called 'The Fallen'. I didn't help with that name cuz I think it's lame and I would've done better!! So I'm going to try and fix that but anyways Broox is amazing with instrements and can make up a song like (SNAP!) that! He can play piano, sax, guitar & something else i can't remember haha! Scott he is really cordinated like Trent. they both play guitar and drums. Then there's Garett!
Garetts like my best friend/Crush I guess you could say lol & he sings!! He's amazing!!

So they all know what they're doing then there's me... who is just there trying her best to get the hang of it haha! I'm the only girl which kinda sucks but I'm used to it because I am the only girl in my class for church in scipio since I was a baby! and at school I hang out with boys more and I text boys more too lol. Yeah so I just thought I'd tell you about that =D I'm so happy!! =D

WEDNESDAY :]

Today was a pretty good day!
But I really only want to tell you about my INSANE drum lessons I had after school :P
.. So after school I walked down to the building I take from and the guy said I could be in a band and stuff for their traveling concerts at parks and stuff! which would be really cool and SCARY! (cause i dont go in front of people with this kinda stuff you know =/ ?) WELL my teacher started me on WE GOT THE BEAT-THE GO GO'S
& holy cow that was tough to get down!! It took my most of the hour to get the main part down.. I'm still a little sketchy but he said for as many lessons as I've had and how Up beat/fast this song is and how it was my first lesson on it I was really good!! =D
So then with like 15 minutes left he starts me on ANOTHER SONG!!!!!!!! i was like hey wait up i still am on this song!! ahh!!!
But I started on BEVERLY HILLS-WEEZER and I can't really get it... mostly cuz i have my arms crossed over.. that always takes me awhile lol

AHHH I'M SO EXCITED! i dont know if i want to be in a band though yet,,

Things that happened this week;

1-I had a sinco demayo_or however that is spelled =/_party with my young women group

2-I have been taking END OF LEVEL tests for school and I didn't do my best in science =[ I sucked it up!! but on the harder one I did better then I did on the easy one.. well thats how my teacher explained it I thought the harder one was easier lol

3-Had my 3rd Drum lesson on wednesday and I learned -dont stop by fleetwoodmac

I'm mostly learning oldies songs lol BUT this song i heard once on the radio with my friend Shyann and I really liked it so i'm excited about playing it! =]

4-I went and saw the new X-MEN ORIGINS WOLVERINE!!!!!!!! holy cow it's intense but i love it!!!
Wolverine is my favorite superhero lol =] but in the movie {i have to say this sorry if you havent seen it} but the Professor Exavior_however you spell it =\_ towards the end looks like he has TONS!! of make up on its kinda gross! lol

5-I had to go to the dentist and they numbed the top of my mouth and like my top lip! it felt sooooo weird til like 6:30!! and it got numb around 2:00!!!

Yeah thats mostly it.. my life isn't too exciting but i only have 2 WEEKS OF SCHOOL LEFT! i get out on the 29th =[
My grade gets to go to lagoon on the last tuesday tho!! its going to be way fun! i hope... =D

Catch Up!!!

It's been awhile since I've posted but I had my FIRST DRUM LESSON last Wednesday! It was very difficult but I'm not giving up!! I mean it was my first time I'm suppose to mess up allot right?
Then last Thursday I went to the CORAL PINK SAND DUNES with my family. It's kinda a BIG family get together since my mom's, mom's side of the family is HUGE!! It was a lot of fun... besides the cold and the wind.. and the cold!

WELL ANYWAYS TODAY;;
I had to choose my
HIGH SCHOOL =/
classes and since my high school Isn't like amazing we don't have very much choice of elective classes =[ I'm going to take art and maybe Spanish (i wish they had french) and a Interior design class =]

After school i walked down to my DRUM LESSON! it was Way better then the first time I went! I learned most of the song BREAKDOWN BY TOM PETTY::its on my play list at the very bottom::

I'M SO EXCITED!

Ok so lets just understand something here; I have NEVER played a sport on a team. NEVER did more than 2 months of gymnastics. NEVER did dance well..after my teacher moved away or something. NEVER entered a contest or did ANYTHING!
(well I did piano for like 3-4 years but I quit)
BUT !! Why I'm excited is because I'm finally going to do something!!
My friends Garett and Kaylee are in a band thing and They said that the drummer could teach me drums!!! I've always wanted to play the drums and here's my chance!! $50 a month but I think I can do it! I havent talked to the drummer guy yet but still I'm excited!

5 things that I love! =D

1.MUSIC!! I am addicted to music! I found out it's alot easier for me to run longer with music going-because when I run I cant really think about anything so i start to think about how my legs hurt or how hard I'm breathing and how much i want to stop. If i have music than i focus on the words or beat of the song instead of making myself more miserable!! lol

2.MY FRIENDS!! My friends are insane I always have a blast with them!!

3.FAMILY!! I love visiting with my family! I LOVE ELLIEANNA! and my mom and dad and sometimes my brothers..but mostly ellie and mom and dad. Oh and i also love my extended family-When we have big family reunions or like camping trips I love it!! I just cant wait we go for a easter trip soon!! I love all of my probably over 100 cousins on my jones/smith side! On my bennett side we have camping trips too and like new years partys and valentines day partys! I love them guys TOO!

4.MOVIES!! I love going to the theater and seeing a movie with my friends!! Our theater sucks tho!! >=( but oh well!! :) I love almost every kind of movies except I'm not a big fan of old OLD movies or musicals..

5.ICE CREAM!! Whoever hates ice cream i would have to say that they are in-human! Ice cream is so good I love it!!

ELLIEANNA I LOVE YOU!

Today I got the chance to tend Ellie from 7 to about 11:30! She fell asleep for a little while & then when she woke up I had to entertain her while try to clean out my closet!

What a Morning...I had a blast!

Finding ways to make her happy and entertained-

She loves this gym thing but she wanted to be in the bouncer instead of laying on the floor. So i had an amazing idea and emptied out a couple of drawers and stuck the gym thing on top so then she could still play with in and be in her bouncer!! I'm a genius! =]

The hat i found in my closet...she loved it!

I was cleaning out my closet and she got a hold of a pair of pants and was slubbering all over it!!

On saturday night Caden (one of matts best friends) texted me saying "my dads on the phone with matts mom trying to figure something out so he can come live with me." and then like ten minutes later Caden texts me again saying "OH MY GOSH MATT IS COMING TO LIVE WITH ME!!!!!!" So on monday (sorry this is a bit late) Matt came down and on tuesday he was at school!!! So I've got to talk to him here and there I still dont have any classes with him but I've got hugs!! oh my heck i've just missed him so much and now that he's here i'm just happy all the time just to think ' Yay i get to see matt again tomorrow!!" he is going to be here til the end of the year. Sure its not forever but its better than never seeing him again! AHHH I'M SO HAPPY!!
